The glass windows that make up your enclosure are one of the keys to creating a quality room. While window options are literally limitless, we recommend staying with a "stock" style instead of having the windows custom made. Custom made windows are significantly more expensive to purchase. Replacing custom made windows can also be very costly. Make sure that you pick a window style that matches your homes' architecture.

There are many quality glass options available in building an enclosure. Ultimately you want to make sure that your glass controls the climate inside your enclosure efficiently.

The industry standard for glass is hermetically sealed, double-paned glass with an insulated space between the panes.

In most climates the industry standard is ideal. If you live in a climate with more demanding weather conditions, there are several more glass options available including triple-paned glazing, argon-filled glass, and safety glass. Each of these options is more expensive than double-paned glass, but they each offer increased climate control and safety.
